We have a film dryer and RC dryer
Screens for Fiber Paper
It is a clean and quite intimate place.
We work by appointment with a prepaid reservation only!
ALTHOUGH WE WOULD PREFER YOU
RESERVE 48HR IN ADVANCE, WE ARE ALSO VERY FLEXIBLE WITH
OUR DARKROM RENTAL. IF WE CAN ACCOMODATE YOU ON THE SAME DAY, OR NEXT, WE WILL. JUST GIVE US A CALL.
(The darkroom is not a major part of our business, It's just a blessing. Therefore,
in case we are running late for your reserved time, or in case of any illness or if we have an emargency, we will try to call
or email you in advance. We will also compensate you with 1/2 hour in such case. We apologize we can't do more than 1/2 hour
due to the high cost of chemicals, electricity and water. Thank you for your understanding).
THE DARKROOM IS AVAILABLE ALMOST ANY DAY, AT ANY TIME BETWEEN
9 AM TO 8PM EXCEPT WHEN NOTED BELOW. IMPORTANT:
Please bring a copy of your receipt of payment in/and for the day(s) reseved. Thank
you!
Our most flexible days are: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday
Not open on Tuesdays
at all during Spring and Fall semesters
Students: please reserve in advance for your darkroom or studio rental needs. Know
that we are open when the darkroom at your school might be closed.
Prepaid reservations in advance
a MUST
$12p/hr - two hour minimum
(please include the washing and drying of your prints in
your printing time. This means: if you plan to print for 2 hours only, then you must finish 15min before for RC or 1/2hr before
for Fiber)
SUNDAYS:
at times we are available from 2-6pm but cost is: $18/hr three hr. minimum a MUST.
(Due to the constant higher
cost on chemicals, water and electricity, we can not give student discounts, nor refunds on any darkroom or studio rentals.
Sorry for the inconvenience! but being in our facility is actually a great experience and you will always have our expert
advice when requested).

We have 5 enlargers 3 Omega & 2 Besseler
Just bring your negatives: 35mm, 2-1/4 or 4x5 and B/W photo paper
We do not charge extra for the following items:
Chemicals
Lenses
Easels: speed, 4 blade, 2 blade

file down, regular and glass
Beautiful (none scratch) Proofing Frames
Grain Scopes
Contrast filters, etc...

Darkroom time rental must be two hour minimum. You can purchase two hours or more
online but must call, text or email to reserve date and time desired. PLEASE BE RESPONSIBLE WITH
YOUR PURCHASE: Once you purchased time for our darkroom rental, there is ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS, though you can
utilize the lab with reserved day and time upon availability one next time if you call to cancel in advance. If you
need to spend more time while printing, just pay the difference when you check out. We can not grant or be responsible for
darkroom rental time purchased on the same day. We strongly advice you to purchase your time within 48hr in advance to assure
your printing time but MUST call to reserve date and time to 310.525.4413 or you can also send a text or an email to: lafoto@lafoto.info.
IMPORTANT:
Once you purchased and reserved time but you did not show up, nor called to cancel, you will loose half of the purchased amount
and reserved time. If your reserved two hours, which is our minimum rental time and did not show, nor called to cancel, you
completely loose your prepaid reservation. If you reserve time and show up late, time is running. Therefore you are loosing
part of your printing time. Thank you.
